These terms apply when you buy website design or hosting services from Lumo Web, a trading name of [OWNER’S LEGAL NAME] (“I”, “me”), [CONTACT ADDRESS]. By saying yes to a quote or paying an invoice, you agree to them.
I design and build a mobile-friendly website for your business. You will see a mock-up first. I won’t publish anything until you approve it. I may ask for text, photos and your logo, and the schedule depends on how quickly you send these.
The setup fee starts from £130. I will confirm the exact price in writing before I begin work. Hosting, small updates and support cost £15 a month unless we agree otherwise. Payment is due [PAYMENT TERMS, e.g. before the site goes live]. Prices don’t include VAT because I am not VAT-registered at the moment.
You can cancel the monthly service at any time by emailing contact@lumoweb.uk. It stops at the end of the billing period you have paid for, and I’ll give you a copy of your site’s files if you ask.
You confirm you have the right to use any text, images and logos you give me. You keep ownership of your own content. I may show screenshots of the finished website in my portfolio unless you tell me not to.
The setup fee includes [NUMBER] rounds of changes to the mock-up. Extra work will be quoted before I start.
I take reasonable care to keep your site online, but I rely on third-party hosting and can’t promise it will always be available.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, my total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid me in the previous 12 months, and I’m not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please email me first and I will do my best to put it right.
